I am writing in response to call to the audition  in the April 29 Hollywood View.  I would like to be considered for the main character in Batman Returns . I hope you find that my study in NYARA Acting School will qualify me for the role.

I am a professional actor, graduated in NYARA Acting School in New York five years ago. During my studies, I have participated in many plays for the school such as Cats, The Phantom of the Opera , The Lion King,  Evita, among others. I also had a part in the Thor movie released in 2012. Also, I interpreted this year The Beast in the play The Beast and the Beauty in  Broadway.

Even though I  played different roles in  school plays when I was in highschool, my recent job in The Beast and the Beauty was the most incredible experience I have ever had. I was chosen among hundreds of actors for the main play in which they selected 10 candidates and I was  the only one selected. Besides, I had the opportunity to work with Meryl Streep, Ricky Martin and the one and only Robert De Niro. They taught me so much, making me a more versatile actor today.

I would be great if you could inform me when the result of the applications of the audition will be ready. I  also would be  pleased if you can consider me, as a second option, as part of your future movies.

Firstly, I would like to know what kinds of activities are included in the offered package by your company. I really look forward to trekking some mountains. Besides, is it posible top ay for having extra activities?

Secondly, could it be allow to bring pets during the whole trip? I wonder you this because I have a cute cat at home and I do not want to let it alone for those days. Likewise, I would like to ask you if there is any chance to have an special menú during the journey. I am in a strict diet so I want to eat only light food in those days.

Finally, could I know the normal and extra Price for the whole trip with my conditions? (only if it posible).

Target text: Discursive essay.

Situation: Yor English class had read about performance-enhancing drugs and their connection with the Olympic games. Your teacher has now asked you to write an essay giving your opinion on the following statement:

Society should accept and promote that athletes take drugs in order to compete in high-level competitions such as Olympic.

In the past, the Olympic games was one of the most important and competitive games in which players could beats sport records. Nowadays, the use of drugs (dopping) is being a frequent mechanism used between athletes. That is why using these kinds of help is not healthy and real for the competition.

On one hand, drugs are commonly used by players. During many years, drugs have helped the performance in players. Likewise, beating records started becoming easy to get it for players. Bolt, for example, confessed the use of drugs during his competitions in the Olympic.

On the other hand, drugs have side effects. Using drugs has many risks for people. This is due to people do not have the same celular reaction to drugs. Unfortunately, these side effects seem no to matter in both players and coaches. For instance, there are many unexpected deaths due to the use of dopping during competitions, like the football player case in Australia in 2009.

To my mind, the use of drugs has many side effects that might produce untimely deaths. Besides, if a player uses dopping in competitions, the result will not be real and alterated.

Description of an event.

Yesterday, I went to a party organised by the interchange program in Valparaiso. It was from 10 pm so on. All people was invited to the event and the only requirement was to speak in English as much as you can.

It started with a small reception at Muelle Barón place in Valparaíso. There were bunch of people and everybody enjoyed chatting with everyone. The music was awesome and with lots of punchi punchi beats. The food was good buy I think that none noticed that. The night was perfect for couples because it was full moon all night and the environment was perfect to falling in love.


One of the best thing was knowing people with different kids of culture and likes, because I could understand some points of views that were totally different than mine. Besides,  the pronunciation, body language and the confident they had, make me wish to act like one of them. They were very friendly and easygoing people that I could chat all the time and with no pressure at all.

To conclude, I'd say that giving me the time to spend hours with new people (interchange people) was one of the best event during the whole week and I'll definitively do it again without thinking to much.

Science essay: Women’s role in the world.

To begin with, during the whole history, men are being positioned as a leader of creation; Graham Bell, Newton, Einstein, Copernicus, among others. Most of the time men are (but not anymore) highlighted instead of women. Even though girls could do something relevant and important, they are under shadows. But now things are different and women are as important as men in term of roles and are reaching her place in society.

Maybe because God first created the man and second the woman that people may think the girls are less important than boys, or because they were destined to housework instead of business. The fact is that our society does not let women take equal role as men and they were always delegated to take care of children or other housework stuffs, for example.

If we think in one response to why women were disaggregated in society, there is none. Although science studies demonstrated that girls have more development on doing things at the same time in contrast to men, girls don’t receive the same respect as men do.

So, we can see that women’s role in the world is not  powerful in contrast to men’s despite that maybe girls are more capable than boys.
